**Requirements**:

- Must be able to work weekends if needed.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass criminal background check run through care at home
- Must have CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Taking care of the client’s personal hygiene needs including washing, dressing, grooming, showering, shaving, etc..
- Changing nappies and providing basic care for the child (as needed)
- Meal preparation, preparation of snacks, drinks, and healthy snacks (banana/orange/granola bars) for the child to enjoy during her naps (as needed)
- Baths (if requested and needed by the parent) including cleaning, changing, and drying of all needed items in the home environment as well as at the office (if requested)
- General assistance such as helping with laundry, helping with play activities, etc. (as needed)

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $31.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Nanaimo, BC V9R 6R6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
