**Position Overview**

Building and installing custom cabinetry for residential and commercial customers in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario.

**Relevant Skills**:

- Build, repair, and install residential and commercial cabinets, wooden furniture, and millwork using a variety of woods, laminates, and other products
- Read drawings, specifications, and layouts
- Set up and operate woodworking equipment and tools
- Sand wooden surfaces
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Note: Finishing (stain and lacquer) is currently done offsite by an external vendor

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year of related experience in custom cabinetmaking and installations
- Valid class 5 driver’s license
- Access to a reliable vehicle during all work hours
- Bondable
- Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, or valid work permit

**Assets**:

- Estimate costs and materials
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and layouts
- Flexibility to travel (for installations)
- Ability to work evenings or weekends on occasion (if required)
- Skills and knowledge to tow and back-up a covered utility trailer (training can be provided)
- Journeyman cabinetmaking ticket
- Cabinetmaking apprenticeship training (all levels)

**Job Type**:

- Full-time (8 hours per day / 40 hours per week)

**Salary**:

- $15 to $25 per hour (competitive hourly wage will be determined based on an evaluation of experience, skills, and knowledge)
