LTR Industries is currently looking for a **General Laborer** to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Shop Foreman, you will bring knowledge and a strong ethic.

LTR Industries (Ottawa) Limited supplies Commercial Millwork to the general construction industry, Interior Designers and individual commercial/residential clients and offer complete design/build services, or pre-costed tendered jobs.

**RESPONSIBILITES**:

- Handling and moving materials throughout the warehouse.
- Work with saws and power tools.
- Assist in installation if needed.
- Maintenance work - ensure shop equipment maintenance schedule is adhered to
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Discuss, understand, and follow direction for scope of project.
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Using a variety of tools and machines.
- Assisting production workers with day-to-day tasks.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must be hard working and reliable
- Familiar with a shop environment
- Safety conscious
- Must have own vehicle, not on transit route
- Ability to stand/walk during shifts, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Attention to detail and good time management skills.
- Forklift experience preferred
- Driving with a trailer experience preferred
- Good knowledge of Ottawa and area

**JOB TYPE**:

- Full-time, Permanent
