**Responsibilities**
- Accurately ship and receive materials
- Store received materials in proper locations
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Sort, tag and distribute incoming shipments
- Report quality variances
- Ensure pallets and loads are built correctly
- Support inventory control with accurate documentation
- Confirm inventory transactions are complete
- Ensure all paperwork is completed to standard
- Perform routine inspections on forklifts
- Maintain an organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations
- Participate in clean-up of yard and facility
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Operate lifting devices (i.e. forklifts, hoists, elevating platforms, lift beams and swivel hooks)

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a warehouse/shipping environment
- Previous forklift experience required, valid forklift certification preferred
- High school diploma
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be detail oriented and able to maintain high standards of accuracy
- Knowledge of safe lifting and handling procedures
- Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to carry and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 50 pounds
- Ability to perform all duties in accordance with Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to determine the correct tools and equipment needed to complete a task
- Able to effectively communicate, follow and understand verbal and written directions
- Ability to work overtime and on weekends if required.
- All individuals will require successful completion of a pre-access alcohol and drug test.
