The shop labourer performs general duties in the mechanic shop. Duties include washing the equipment before the PM, operating basic hand tools, housekeeping of the yard and assisting machine operators. Maintenance and distribution of the tool crib is also a component of this position.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Perform equipment washing prior to mechanical maintenance.
- Ensure proper storage of tool boxes.
- Assist mechanics on certain tasks.

**Skills and experience**:

- Underground hard rock mining common core (770225) (asset)
- Knowledge of SAP software (asset)
