**Job Type**:Freelance Contractor - Language Interpreter

**Salary**:$20.00 - $25.00 per hour

**Education/Credentials**:Community Interpreter Training; Language Interpretation Testing
- MCIS may offer discounted online community interpretation training, if the language is in need*_

**Experience**:Community interpreting settings [medical, legal, social services, etc.]

**Essential Skills**:Reading text, oral communication, working with others, problem solving, job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory, research skills, and continuous learning

**Language Proficiency**:Must speak and read English fluently and another language**

Arabic, Cantonese, Serbo/Croatian, Farsi/Persian, French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Punjabi, Russian, Spanish, Vietnamese, Somali, Swahili, Romanian, Tamil, Dinka, Burmese, Nepali, Laotian or Albanian;
