We are currently recruiting for the position of Evening **Supervisor** at one of our Dartmouth client locations.

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Supervisor assists in delivering janitorial services to our client as well as overseeing the duties of other staff members.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that staff maintains cleaning requirements at a consistent, optimum level of efficiency.
- Supervise, lead, motivate and develop employees within assigned duties
- Conduct inspections of all sites to ensure work is being carried out in accordance with procedures. Implement corrective action when necessary.
- Ensure Health and Safety requirements are followed and maintained

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience supervising/managing staff.
- Previous experience within the cleaning industry desired.
- Understanding of proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals.
- Understanding of health and safety issues.

**Other**:

- Required to be flexible in adjusting workloads of staff to manage around absenteeism, special projects.
- Must have strong communications skills - ability to communicate in English as well as write simple reports and correspondence and maintain administrative records.

**A Criminal Background Check is a requirement for this position;**

**Compensation includes a very competitive wage and benefits package.**

**Salary**: From $16.40 per hour
