**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and curate innovative beverage menus that complement the restaurant’s tasting concepts and elevate guest experiences.
- Oversee daily beverage operations, including bar service, inventory control, and quality assurance.
- Manage staff training programs to ensure team members are knowledgeable about beverage offerings, food pairing, and customer service standards.
- Be a part of daily operations of an intimate tasting menu service, ensuring flawless timing and flow.
- Maintain compliance with all food safety and alcohol regulations, ensuring responsible service at all times.
- Coordinate with kitchen management to align beverage offerings with culinary themes and seasonal ingredients.
- Handle budgeting, cost control, and procurement processes to optimize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Lead staff tastings and training sessions to ensure the team speaks about the beverage program with confidence and soul.
- Monitor customer feedback to continually improve service quality and menu selections.

**Qualifications**
- Experience in food preparation, bar management, or culinary arts within upscale/fine dining environments
- Understanding the science of balance—acidity, tannin, and sugar—and how they interact with a 16-course progression.
- Exceptional communicator with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- CMS or WSET certification is a plus, but we value a refined palate, creative instinct, and floor presence above all else.
- You have an interest in, or a desire to learn about, Chinese flavour profiles and how they harmonize with the terroir of the West Coast.
