Globe Stamping does light metal stamping, die design, die construction, and finishing assembly, including spot welding and riveting. Located in Kitchener, Ontario, Globe Stamping has been supplying high quality stamped parts to customers for over 100 years.

**Assembly Operator**

Globe Stamping is pleased to offer Full Time employment opportunities in our Assembly department. Your role will be to assemble and package different lightweight parts. You will be challenged to meet production targets in a team.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Forming or assembling the assigned parts, making sure the proper component parts continue to run and working in a safe and efficient manner
- Packaging assembled or formed parts appropriately for shipping, further processing or counting
- Ensuring products being generated either meet or exceed specifications
- Keeping workstations and work area clear, clean, orderly, and free of any safety hazards
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and helping to assist in their implementation
- Performing safety checks on machines before operating to ensure all gear is operating in a normal and safe fashion
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**
- Excellent work ethic
- Desire to learn
- Ability to listen and work well in a team
- Must be fully mobile, lifting and bending involved
- Ability to stand for long periods (full shift).

**Experience**:
Any assembly or manufacturing experience an asset, but not required.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
