We currently have a **Regular** Full-time** opportunity for a **Pharmacy Technician** on the **Automation & Packaging Pharmacy** department at **Bayview.**

**Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday, 11 - 7 pm,2 pm-10pm and 3 pm - 11 pm

Weekends (~roughly 1 in 6) - 2pm-10pm; Statutory Holidays Required

**Summary of Duties**

We are seeking 2 pharmacy technicians for our facility to ensure we continue to provide all patients with high quality, safe and efficient care. And we are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do

The primary responsibility of the technicians in Robotics and Automation is to complete area medications cart fill and automated dispensing units (ADU) fills for acute care patients at the Bayview site, and to prepare the fill for the Automated Dispensing cabinets at the Holland Centre. Packaging of additional medications, both hazardous and non-hazardous for all pharmacy sites (Extended Care, Bayview Acute Care, Holland Centre and St John's), will also occur and may be expanded with time.

**Qualifications/Skills**
- Completion of a recognized Canadian pharmacy technician college program.
- Able to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to adapt to change
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Self motivated and able to take initiative
- Reliable
- Customer service skills and empathetic manner
