Montessori Early Childhood Assistant

**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities that promote learning and social development
- Support children during classroom activities, playtime, and rest periods to ensure their safety and engagement
- Provide care and supervision for children, including helping with feeding, diapering, and hygiene routines as needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment that encourages children's curiosity and independence
- Collaborate with team members to monitor children's progress and communicate observations to parents or guardians
- Assist with classroom organization, setup, and cleanup to maintain a clean and safe learning space
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing additional assistance as required
**Qualifications**
- Prior classroom experience working with young children or in early childhood education preferred
- Experience working with in a Montessori environment is a plus
- Strong caregiving skills with a genuine interest in supporting children's developmental needs
- Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching methods and activities for early childhood development
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, compassion, and a positive attitude towards children and their families
- Ability to pass background checks and adhere to safety protocols related to childcare environments
- First aid CPR level C mandatory
