Hoist Operator- Toronto

**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Operate hoist to lift, move, and position loads as required by project specifications.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Communicate clearly with ground crew members to coordinate lifting operations effectively.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Assist in rigging loads for safe lifting and movement.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, including load weights and equipment usage.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience operating a hoist, must be able to provide hoist operator certification or relevant training.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to crane operation and maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills are highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed based on project demands.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
Flexible language requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
