Osns Behaviour Interventionist for Aip

OSNS is looking for casual staff with strong attention to detail, great communication and interpersonal skills, and data collection abilities. Interventionists in our Autism Interventionist Program implement individualized therapy programs in a one-on-one setting with children who have received a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. Full training and ongoing mentoring are provided.
This role provides the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary group including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, interventionists, early childhood educators, and family support workers. Children are busy and fast-paced - so are we. Every week of work will be different and you will navigate your way with enthusiasm, problem-solving skills, and humour. Flexibility, curiosity, creativity, and multi-tasking are key given the ever-evolving nature of our work with children.
**Education**:
- Post-secondary education in a health-related or child-care-related field is preferred
**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities**:
- Experience working with children
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to represent our Centre's vision and values with spirit and professionalism
**Working Conditions**:
- Physical capability to perform the duties of the position
- Use of personal vehicle may be required. A valid BC driver’s license is required
- Ability to provide an acceptable criminal record check
