**The Impact You’ll Make in this Role**

As an Assistant Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

- Ensuring the safe and optimal use of equipment using established procedures, Lean, and 5S principles to foster improvement and achieve production goals
- Performing regular Quality checks and ensuring compliance with standards
- Troubleshooting plant processes, performing equipment changeovers, and performing minor troubleshooting and repairs as necessary
- Adjusting to new demands, products, and plant priorities to support business interests
- Performing day-to-day production operator duties within a temperature controlled, health care manufacturing facility
- Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts

**Your Skills and Expertise**

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

- Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start)
- Flexibility for shift rotations
- Must reside near/in Morden MB or planning to relocate to Morden MB in the near future

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

- Experience working within an industrial manufacturing facility
- Possess mechanical & troubleshooting skills
- Post-secondary education
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results both alone and in cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of possessing a pro-active, constructive approach and a high level of focus in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction
