**Job Description** Salary information**: Competitive wages ($21.43 to $21.96/hour)

**Weekend DAY shift**:Friday to Sunday from 5:30 am to 5:30 pm

**An overview of your daily life**

**Job Description**:

- Handle products carefully to bring them to the storage line using a propane or electrical sit-down forklift
- Transport various materials and/or supplies for operational needs
- Inspect machinery before the start of each shift and change operators as required
- Ensure the cleaning of the premises and equipment to keep the work environment clean and safe
- Review work completed on previous shift and work to be completed according to priorities established by the production supervisor
- Notify the production supervisor of any mechanical breakdowns
- Operate the forklift safely and meticulously
- Be very vigilant in the method of driving, in order to avoid accidents and/or overturns: pedestrians, buildings, fixed equipment, trucks and other machinery
- Use the forklift according to its capabilities and limits
- Outdoor work environment
- Be buckled up at all times
- Responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of the machine
- Comply with company health and safety rules
- All other related duties

**Qualifications** Qualifications**
- Valid forklift operator's competency card or to be renewed
- ** Experience as a sit-down forklift operator (1 year minimum)**:

- Self-motivated and proactive
- Good attendance record
- Resourcefulness
- Punctual person
- Ensure compliance with work safety standards and instructions

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.
