We are currently seeking a Sales Representative to join our team, reporting directly to the President. As a Sales Representative with our company, you will play a key role in driving sales growth through a proactive, "hunter" approach. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and secure new business opportunities within the west GTA territory. We are looking for a motivated individual who excels in cultivating relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering customized solutions that align with our service offerings. **What’s in it for you**: - Monthly car allowance + gas card and 407 transponder, and company-issued cell phone. - Group RSP Program with company matching contributions. - Comprehensive benefit program (life insurance, extended healthcare and dental). - Continuous on the job training. **What you will be required to do**: - Accurately measure and assess client requirements and job sites to gather precise specifications for product recommendations and installations. - Prospect and generate leads to attract new clients, utilizing methods such as cold calling, market research, and referrals to build a sales pipeline. - Conduct regular weekly prospecting activities to maintain relationships with existing clients and cultivate new accounts, promoting our products and services, including our technicians and service platform/app. - Follow up promptly on leads and inquiries generated from various sources (e.g., marketing campaigns, service requests), providing timely status updates and outlining next steps. - Schedule and conduct meetings with potential clients and key decision-makers to understand their specific business challenges and recommend suitable products and services. - Follow up on new and existing leads, monitoring the efficiency of sales efforts. - Travel to job sites to engage with customers, participate in sales presentations, and conduct product inspections as necessary. - Attend all mandatory and relevant training sessions, coaching sessions, and meetings as determined by management to enhance sales skills and product knowledge. - Establish and maintain lasting partnerships with both existing and new clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. - Develop and deliver presentations and proposals that emphasize the value and benefits of our solutions. - Negotiate contracts and successfully close deals to achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives. - Collaborate closely with internal teams to facilitate seamless project transitions and deliver exceptional customer service. - Execute and analyze sales period reports to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. - Perform other duties as required to support the sales and business development goals of the company. **What you will need to be successful**: - University or College degree preferred. - 5+ years of experience in the dock and door industry preferred (equivalent experience will also be considered). Experience in sales—particularly in industrial sales, forklift, or automotive sales, or with technical products—is a strong asset. - Strong problem-solving capabilities, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a team environment. - Excellent organizational, presentation, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills. - Strong time management skills and superior customer relationship skills. - Must possess a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license. - Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed. - Knowledge of trades such as welding, construction, or electrical is a plus. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $65,000.00 per year Additional pay: - Bonus pay **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off - RRSP match - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday **Education**: - Bachelor's Degree (preferred) **Experience**: - dock and door industry: 1 year (preferred) - Sales: 5 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Driving Licence (required) Work Location: On the road
