As an **Accounting Analyst**, you will report directly to the Accounting Supervisor and be part of the team responsible for part of the Quebec operations, based at the Montreal head office.
- Ensure the accuracy of accounting records
- Develop and maintain financial planning activities (various tools/objectives/budgets)
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment
- Prepare and present monthly and annual financial statements
- Provide regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement
- Perform monthly and year-end closing tasks
- Participate in various continuous improvement projects to optimize processes and reduce financial reporting cycle times
- Develop and prepare various value-added financial analyses
- Ensure compliance with tax obligations by preparing and submitting tax returns in accordance with applicable tax legislation
- Work closely with the company's various partners to understand their businesses, help them understand their financial drivers and challenge their assumptions
- Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary information and resolve accounting issues
- Handle audit requests by collaborating with external auditors, providing the necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.

**Qualifications**
- University degree in accounting or finance
- At least 3 years' experience in accounting
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Autonomy, attention to detail, analytical skills and sense of responsibility
- Bilingualism (French/English)
- Experience with reporting tools (Cognos, Power BI)
