From our local facility in Port Kells, Surrey, we design, manufacture, and market architectural LED lighting products. As an integral part of our Shipping team, you support our innovate product development by being the final stage of our products reaching their final destination.

We are looking for a flexible, energetic **Shipper**with a can-do attitude and _**a minimum of 3 years’ experience**_ to join our growing team. As a Shipper, you will be in a physical and hands-on role which requires a high degree of communication and attention to detail. You will learn important distribution skills such as forklift operation and using ERP software systems to ensure accuracy of orders. This is a full-time permanent position in a stable and growing organization. Our facility is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

**THE ROLE**:

- Sales order picking & staging
- Fill orders, wrap, strap, palletize, weigh, measure, and label with a high degree of attention to detail, ensuring the products are labelled correctly & secured for transportation
- Utilize a variety of warehouse equipment including SDCB forklift, electric pallet jacket, etc. while maintaining safety protocols and procedures
- Contact the LTL & Courier carrier and schedule shipping for each pallet/parcel
- Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs
- Complete waybills, documentation, packaging, shipping labels and ensuring shipments are accurately labeled
- Domestic, Transborder, INT’L Air & Ocean Inbound & INT’L Air Outbound Freight Quoting
- Ship INT’L Air & Ocean Inbound & INT’L Air Outbound
- Freight Claims with Carriers

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must have **a minimum of 3 years’ experience**:

- Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50 lbs. continuously throughout the day while acting in a safe manner
- Experience using warehouse machinery. Preference given to those with _**valid forklift license**_
- Experience with ERP software such Syteline
- Experience with Domestic, Transborder, INT’L Air & Ocean Inbound & INT’L Air Outbound Freight Quoting & Shipping
- Experience with Freight Claims with Carriers
- Experience with NMFC Freight Class
- Experience with H.S. Codes (Harmonized Tariff Schedule)
- Experience with USMCA & CUSMA

**DEMONSTRATED SKILLS**:

- Strong communication skills, a high degree of English comprehension skill is required for this role
- High level of cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse workforce
- Excellent attention to detail, multi-tasking, and time management
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently as well as on a team
- Ability to problem solve, work in high pressure environment, and meet tight deadlines
