**Primary Objectives**:
Coordinate a full range of activities that are required to deliver and maintain business-valued technical solutions to business. Provide leadership and coordination of all technical aspects of the product team, partnering with the Business Product Owner. Ensures overall financial and technical health of the Product (both Projects and Run). Coordinate and align with enterprise practice groups, frameworks, and shared services. Accountable for interfaces with technical partners (internal and external). Understand the business as well as current trends in both technology and insurance operations in order to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies. Collaborate with the Technical Lead and Solution Architect in the development of long-range technology strategies to support the Operations business strategy and be accountable for its completion.

**Responsibilities**:
IT Product Manager - 70%- Partners with the Chief Business Product owner in delivering superior products to the customer.
- Develop the product roadmap and build consensus on prioritization to support business strategy.
- Facilitate product backlog grooming sessions to discuss release scope, business priorities, and/or roadblocks.
- Define and analyze metrics that inform product success & health.
- Identifies opportunities for operational efficiency and process improvement.
- Coordinates and aligns with enterprise practice groups, frameworks, and shared services.
- Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality.
- Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes.
- Primary point of contact for all activities relating to Demand Management and Release Planning oversight, execution, and communication.

IT Resource Management - 30%- Primary point of contact with Vendors relating to products being delivered within the product team.
- Ensures superior delivery of products using internal and external resources.
- Manages and provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring to internal resources on the product team.
- Resolves resource contention and operational issues across the Agile and Kanban teams.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in information management, business or finance, or equivalent work experience,
- 8+ years of information systems, products and project management experience including 2 years of delivery management,
- Experience working within the insurance industry,
- Project management methods - Agile, Kanban, tools and techniques,
- Experience in customer relationship management, workflow automation, process improvement and/or scalable platforms,
- Ability to work independently as well as in an environment of teamwork and collaboration,
- Excellent organizational and time management skills,
- Strong customer service skills and negotiating skills.
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions in an informed and timely manner,
- Strong verbal and written communication skills,
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office or comparable products for word processing, spreadsheets, database management and presentation development,
