**Description**:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager, the Supply Chain Planner is responsible for a combination of both demand planning and supply planning activities but will be mostly supporting the introduction of new products throughout the year and most importantly for Saje’s Holiday season.

From working with the Product Team to align on forecasts for both limited edition SKU’s and new core products, to working with cross-functional partners to ensure that products are launched on time with acceptable levels of inventory, the Supply Chain Planner will be a key member of the Planning Team.

Through day-to-day functions, the Supply Chain Planner contributes to maintaining and strengthening Saje’s culture; proactively engaging in behaviours that align with Saje’s values: Wellness, Growth, Celebration, Greatness and Belonging.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborates with cross-functional partners to align on demand plans for all new SKU’s (core, limited editions, seasonal and re-launched core)
- Documents rationale for demand plans for new SKU’s
- Responsible to maintain the demand plan for all new core SKU’s until 12 months after launch
- Reports on forecast accurate for all new core SKU’s; reports on sell-through of limited edition SKU’s / seasonal SKU’s vs. planned sell through
- Ensures that initial production quantities for all new core SKU’s / re-launched core SKU’s makes sense in light of not taking too much risk
- Manages the New Product Launch process on a bi-weekly basis (more frequently leading into Holiday season) with cross-functional partners
- Highlights new product launches that are off-track and works with other Operational departments to try to manage timing and expediting as necessary
- Maintenance of the Supply Plan, translating Finish Goods demand into Component purchase plans as well as co-manufacturer’s production orders, maximizing on time delivery of Finished Goods and maintaining healthy inventory levels across the chain
- Execution of root cause analysis of stock outs, late and overstock situations and propose improvement plans to minimize inventory exposure and maximize revenue
- Ensuring the proper management of phase-in/phase out strategies, collaborating closely with Demand and Product Management teams, minimizing potential liability and write offs
- Gain complete understanding of Bill of Materials and SKU level Master Data requirements and can support when needed
- Additional tasks to be determined as new processes are implemented within the department

**Applicant Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years prior experience in a similar planning role
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
- Experience using ERP systems / MRP Tools
- Strong understanding of Planning and cross functional connections between Supply and Demand
- Ability to take on new challenges
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment required while maintaining focus and a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, time management, and follow-up skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to take initiative and exercise judgment
- Team player who works productively with a wide range of people in cross functional teams
