To keep up with our rapid growth, we are looking for a **Facility Manager **to join our growing team, all while being a leading example of our company culture.

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for the management of the overall provision of building operating systems, security, cleaning of the building(s) and associated suppliers/contractors;
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the building;
- Responsible for the management of repairs and maintenance of the facility;
- Monitor/supervise the work of external contractors and/or employees on site.
- Respond as the first contact person in case of emergency or other urgent event, whether during or after working hours;
- Communicate job/project expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards;
- Prepare and conduct team meetings as necessary for proper communication and development;
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Infrastructure.

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING**
- Completed post secondary education;
- Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in Facility Services;
- Certificate in Facilities Management would be an asset;
- First-aid certificate would be an asset;
- Valid driver license required;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook;
- Knowledge of access card & CCTV systems and CMMS systems;
- Basic skills in reading construction drawings and project coordination;
- Availability to be on call for 24 hours in case of emergency;
- Good skills in the use of hand and power tool;
- Ability to multitask and strong communication in verbal and written English;
- Must be able to meet physical demands of the role, such as work in the following positions: standing, crouching, walking, climbing, etc;
- Ability to work autonomously with little supervision;
- Basic knowledge of IT services would be an asset.
