As a **Learning and Development Consultant,** you will contribute to building a skilled and motivated workforce by designing and delivering effective learning programs. Your expertise in instructional design, training delivery, and evaluation will drive the organization's learning initiatives and support employee development.
This is a **full time, Permanent** role working on a Hybrid schedule and reports directly to the Director MECE Readiness & Optimization
**Typical day would involve**
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify organizational and individual training needs, determine skill gaps and development priorities.
- Support the Sr Manager of Learning and Development in the development of comprehensive learning strategies aligned with organizational goals. Determine appropriate learning methodologies, content formats, and delivery mechanisms.
- Create high-quality training content, including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, videos, and interactive learning materials. Ensure content is engaging, up-to-date, and aligned with learning objectives.
- Deliver training sessions to employees using various methods, such as e-learning, virtual classrooms, train the trainer, and on the job learning.
- Stay updated with learning technologies and tools. Leverage learning management systems (LMS) and other e-learning platforms to manage, deliver, and track learning initiatives effectively.
- Develop evaluation frameworks and assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of learning programs. Collect and analyze feedback from participants and stakeholders. Use data-driven insights to enhance future learning initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning within the division. Promote learning opportunities, encourage knowledge sharing, and provide guidance on professional development.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in learning and development. Share insights and recommendations to improve learning strategies and methodologies.
**You have**
- Proven experience as a Learning and Development Consultant or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, learning theories, and adult learning methodologies.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and authoring tools.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in creating engaging and interactive training content using various media formats.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training needs, evaluate program effectiveness, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications in instructional design, training facilitation, or related fields are desirable.
