**About the Opportunity**:
The IM/IT Systems Analyst (SA) / Business Analyst (BA), reports to the PHCCA IM/IT Manager and will take direction from either the IM/IT Lead or Sr. Analyst. This position is responsible for the requirement gathering, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support for clinical information management and technology solutions and functions across NSH, IWK and its many external clients. The IM/IT SA/BA works with their team to collaborate with key clinical and business stakeholders to support primary healthcare services and programs throughout Nova Scotia. Systems encompassed within this role include, but are not limited to, community based electronic medical record (EMR) systems (Accuro, Med Access), eResults, Need a Family Practice, etc that are used in supporting primary healthcare services and programs.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

- Complete service requests and incident resolution in accordance with service level agreements
- Establish and maintain working relationships between the Clinical, Business and IT stakeholders and IM/IT to support service delivery.
- Improve the customer experience and satisfaction by looking for ways to improve use of software to support business, following through with customer requests, considering the impact of decisions and actions on operations and customers
- Supporting projects in the PHCCA portfolio

**About You**:

- Degree or diploma in an Information Technology, Business Analysis or Health Related discipline. Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and relevant experience.
- Experience working in clinical care settings/ with healthcare terminology an asset. (Preference given to those with experience in primary care settings)
- Experience in Web development or maintenance an asset
- Experience in the development and maintenance of electronic forms an asset
- Client-focused with emphasis on delivering quality services to customers
- Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to document and solve issues
- Ability to troubleshoot and document issues, problems and implement resolution
- Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Experience creating summary documentation based on evaluation and analysis an asset
- Certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Project Management (PMP), and/or organizational change management an asset

- Two Long-assignment, Full-time positions; 75 hours biweekly

**Salary Information**:
$31.08 - $38.85 hourly
