**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to fill a **permanent position** supporting our pharmacists in delivering care. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a friendly, community-focused setting.

**Job Duties**:

- Receiving, processing, and releasing prescriptions
- Data entry for patient information and prescription information (we use Kroll Pharmacy software)
- Maintaining our over-the-counter inventory
- Keeping the pharmacy clean and tidy
- Receiving, organizing, and maintaining pharmacy prescription inventory
- Ensuring recurrent prescriptions and new orders are accurately packaged and provided to the patient, or prepared for delivery
- Helping in organizing and packaging patient blister packs
- Providing support to the pharmacist in fulfilling their duties as allowed by scope of practice
- Participating in the compounding of prescriptions as permitted by scope of practice (note on site training in necessary compounding skills is provided)

**Communication**:
**Qualifications & Assets**:

- Diploma or Certificate from a pharmacy assistant program (asset)
- Experience with Kroll Pharmacy software (asset)
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting or customer service (asset)
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and initiative
- Strong communication skills and team player mindset

Hours of Work:

- Monday to Friday 8:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M (with some flexibility)
