**Overview**:
Trend Micro is looking for an experienced **UX Researcher **to help us continue to deliver innovative and industry-leading experiences to market. As part of a new and growing Cloud One UX team you’ll collaborate cross-functionally and with other UX researchers and designers to help build an end-to-end cloud security platform. As a part of the broader team at Trend Micro, you'll share in the proven success, innovation, and customer loyalty we're known for in the world of cybersecurity.

**Responsibilities**:
You’ll be successful in this position if you can:

- Drive deeper understanding of our customers’ journeys across product and service touchpoints
- Interpret product and customer data to generate clear, compelling, and relevant insights
- Design generative research plans and studies that are in service of outcomes that satisfy organizational OKRs
- Develop process around recruiting research participants
- Partner with Product Managers and Field Team on engagements with our customers to identify their pain points and unmet needs
- Communicate research findings clearly and effectively using visual artifacts and deliverables
- Facilitate workshops with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment on opportunities, I.e., the right problems to solve
- Contribute to definition of criteria for measuring the success of product experiences
- Coordinate evaluative research with UX Designers to validate designs with rapid feedback loops
- Use knowledge of modern accessibility standards, usability heuristics, and best practices to identify design debt
- Contribute to research, collaboration, and communication processes for a remote-first team

**Qualifications (must-have)**:

- Some level of formal education or training in UX, HCI, design, or a related area
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience as a UX or design researcher
- Experience contributing to products and services in the cloud
- Portfolio of case studies demonstrating experience delivering measurable value to customers

**Qualifications (ideal)**:

- Experience working on enterprise products and services
- Basic understanding of APIs and DevOps practices
- Experience in cybersecurity
