Painter - Subcontractor

We are a travelling paint group with several years of experience in the industry, working on large commercial settings. We are rapidly expanding and are looking for energetic individuals with an interest in leadership roles and personal development.

Currently, looking to hire experienced, enthusiastic and energetic **Painters** **as subcontractors** for commercial work in the Golden Horseshoe and Ottawa Regions.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Available for night shifts and weekend work.
- Valid Ontario Driver's License with a clean Driver’s Abstract
- Reliable transportation to and from place of work.
- Willing to travel out of town for extensive stays.
- Willing to work paid overtime and long hours.
- Able to problem solve on-site and off-site
- Ability to follow and complete a daily, weekly & monthly task schedule
- Must be friendly, enthusiastic, self-motivated and hard-working.
- Willing to work in team setting or independently.
- Experience with spray systems - Graco or Titan.
- Must be comfortable with heights. Some work is done on elevated platforms.
- Own Tools Required. They are not supplied.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Painting Experience (2+ years preferred)
- Has or is willing to obtain the necessary safety certifications:
I. Working at Heights (preferred)

II. WHMIS (preferred)

III. Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (preferred)

IV. Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps ((preferred)
- Must have Valid Ontario G-class Drivers License, clean records and reliable transportation.
- Experience with airless sprayer machines would be an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Freelance, Seasonal

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burlington, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
