Truck Jockey

Are you a licensed AZ driver with a minimum 3-5 years of experience looking to work a few days a week for pick up and delivery of Trucks, from Buffalo NY to one of our SW Ontario Locations? You must have a valid Canadian Passport as well as be double COVID Vaccinated to apply.

- Read, understand, and adhere to all rules, regulations, and procedures as required by Altruck International Truck Centres
- Obey all laws at all times including the Ontario and USA Highway Traffic Act **Ensure that all work performed is thorough, accurate and completed in a timely fashion**
- Work effectively without supervision

**What makes you a great fit**:

- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving abstract is mandatory
- AZ license mandatory
- Thorough knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic laws
- Mechanical skills to maintain vehicles and solve minor problems is helpful **Understanding of geographical locations and able to read a map**
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items up to 50 lbs
- Can pace driving and schedule pickups in a timely fashion
- Able to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
- Good communication skills and good understanding of safety precaution
- Reliable and customer oriented
