**THE OPPORTUNITY**
- Inspect all product according to quality standards
- Rack ham and beef logsand ensure proper spacing on the rack
- Responsible for accurately bagging the beef
- Responsible for maintaining food safety standards in work responsibilities and report food safety issues to QA immediately.
- Work in a safe manner in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act by reporting all hazards, accidents, incidents or near misses to the Supervisor.
- Follow all prescribed SOPs, rotation schedules, HACCP and GMP procedures
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

**THE REQUIREMENTS**
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work in a cold, damp environment with raw products
- Knowledge of safe food processing practices is an asset
- Must be able to wear steel toe boots, a hairnet, bump cap, face mask, hearing protection and in some cases safety glasses.
- Good manual dexterity
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Great team-work skills
- Basic computer skills are required
- Basic math skills are required
- Ability to multitask is an asset
