**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate trucks and heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Transport freight to designated locations while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and vehicle maintenance.
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to optimize routes and schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation.

**Qualifications**
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus for maintaining vehicle functionality.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required.
