Just Like Family Home Care is looking for caregivers that have a desire in making others feel cared for and that will go above and beyond to provide high quality and compassionate care in their home.

Responsibilities caregivers maybe asked to provide include...

1) **Companionship Services**:

- the companionship services include conversation, community outings, attending to medical appointments, shopping, stimulating mental awareness and others as required;
2) **Home Support Services** - the home support services generally involve but are not limited to light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, changing bed lines, vacuuming, ironing;
3) **Personal Care Services **- the personal care services are related to bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers, Alzheimer/Dementia care and others as required.

Clients may require the use of mobility or transferring aids that will be apart of their ADLs. Caregivers with experience in using Hoyer, sit to stand lifts, and other mobility aids would be an asset.

**Educational Requirements**:
1. Attended a certified PSW program at an Ontario College (PSW specific)

2. CPR/first aid certification

3. Having additional training/certifications will be beneficial

**Location**: Scarborough

Caregivers will be required to have a valid G drivers license as clients maybe required to be driven to doctors appts or other errands.

Due to our highly multicultural population, caregivers that are fluent in multiple languages is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
