**OBJECTIVE**:
As an integral part of the digital team, the Web Merchandiser is responsible for activities related to the merchandising of products on our B2B website. He/she ensures the merchandising of products with the aim of maximizing sales, the company's profitability, and the customer's shopping experience.
**RESPONSIBLE FOR**:
- Updates merchandise on the Joseph Ribkoff website.
- Collects product information from the sales and design team and ensures that this information is aligned with the marketing and digital calendars.
- Prepares merchandising calendar prior to each new collection and coordinates deliverables with various stakeholders.
- Monitor product performance and inventory availability; interacts regularly with sales and customers on the B2B portal.
- Oversee the commerce part of the e-commerce platform. Ensure that all styles are synchronized and appear on the platform, with manual entries.
- Collaborate with photographers and stylists to take product photos and ensure that photos are up to date on the website.
- Coordinates deadlines for product descriptions with an online copywriter. Reviews product descriptions and attributes and make adjustments as needed.
- Analyzes customer behavior and makes recommendations to maximize conversion rates.
- Analyzes product performance history and make recommendations to optimize product mix (in collaboration with the buyer);
- Reports website problems to IT department or external supplier for timely resolution.
- Coordinates with IT vendors and other third-party services (as required) to implement merchandising ideas and ensure technical feasibility and localization.
- Run daily inventory report and file to ensure all new products are on site.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
- University Degree in Business or Commerce
- Three (3) years in Marketing or Ecommerce, preferably in a retail organization. e-commerce, website development or merchandising experience is an asset
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Knowledge in Excel is important
- Knowledge of Web Administration tool, Merchandising & Planning systems, and Web analytics
- Strong project management and coordination skills
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities under tight time constraints
- Strong problem-solving skills and result oriented
- Good analytical skills and detail oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingualism is required (French and English/written and spoken)
- Strong business sense
- Passion for apparel industry
