**Purpose**:
Ancillary Services provides a wide range of professionally managed campus services and amenities to enhance the student experience and support York University's mission, vision and priorities. **Education**:
High school diploma. Must obtain certification and maintain status as a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer prior to completion of Probationary period. Must hold a valid Ontario driver's license (Class G') in good standing. Provision of clean driver's record required.

Demonstrated customer service skills
Excellent public relations skills with the ability to be diplomatic, tactful, patient and courteous
Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written communication skills)
Effective listening, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work with hand held ticket writer devices and the ability to write legible reports
Respects diversity and promotes inclusion in the workplace, contributes to an inclusive and diverse team-based, positive work environment.
Recognizes diversity of abilities and adapt content, tone, medium, and style to audience to be inclusive.

Constant walking and carrying up to 10 pounds
Frequent, standing, sitting, reaching, use of hands

Required use of telephone/radio
Frequent interaction with community members, including potentially distressed individuals
