Requirements,
- **Mixing Drinks**: You'll need to know how to craft a wide variety of cocktails, from classics like martinis and old fashioned to trendy concoctions.
- **Understanding Ingredients**: Familiarize yourself with various liquors, liqueurs, mixers, and garnishes. Knowledge of flavor profiles and how ingredients complement each other is essential.
- **Customer Service**: Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences. A friendly and attentive demeanor can enhance the customer experience.
- **Maintaining Cleanliness**: Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glassware, wiping down surfaces, and restocking supplies.
- **Adhering to Safety Standards**: Follow health and safety regulations, particularly when handling and serving alcohol. This includes knowing when to refuse service to intoxicated patrons.
- **Upselling**: Encourage customers to try new drinks or premium spirits, increasing sales and enhancing the customer experience.
- **Cash Handling**: Process payments accurately and efficiently, including handling cash and operating POS systems.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor stock levels of ingredients, order supplies as needed, and minimize waste to control costs.
- **Creative Development**: Experiment with new recipes and techniques to create unique and innovative cocktails that set your establishment apart.
- **Teamwork**: Coordinate with other staff members, such as servers and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth service and maintain a cohesive atmosphere.
- **Knowledge Sharing**: Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and cocktail techniques, and share this knowledge with colleagues and customers.
- **Responsible Alcohol Service**: Monitor alcohol consumption, identify signs of intoxication, and intervene when necessary to ensure the safety of patrons and prevent overconsumption.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
