Electric Guitarist, Keyboardist, Drummer

**Job Title**: Electric Guitarist, Keyboardist, Drummer - Worship Team

**Reports To**: Suzette Kostadinova, Lead Pastor

**Position Type**: Part-Time, 5-10 hours weekly

**Compensation**:Bi-weekly stipend

**Location**: Kitchener-Waterloo, ON

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lead with excellence**: Play during Sunday worship services, rehearsals, and occasional special events, contributing to a dynamic and engaging worship atmosphere.
- **Collaborate with the team**: Work closely with the Worship team members to create cohesive and Spirit-led worship sets.
- **Follow direction**: Interpret chord charts and arrangements while adding tasteful lead lines, riffs, and ambient textures as needed.
- **Stay current**: Remain familiar with modern worship music trends (e.g., Elevation Worship, Hillsong, etc.) and integrate them into playing style.
- **Rehearse intentionally**: Participate in scheduled weekly rehearsals, coming prepared with parts learned in advance.
- **Maintain spiritual focus**: Approach worship as ministry, not performance, helping lead the congregation into God’s presence.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Solid understanding of tone, effects, and dynamics in a worship setting.
- Comfortable playing **contemporary Christian music** with an ability to adapt to different worship styles.
- Ability to read chord charts and follow musical direction in live settings.
- Familiarity with using effects pedals, amp modeling, and creating appropriate tone for modern worship.
- Team player with good communication skills and a humble, servant-hearted attitude.

- Committed to regular attendance, punctuality, and preparedness for rehearsals and services.

**Time Commitment**:

- **Rehearsals**: 1-2 evenings per week (approx. 2-3 hours each).
- **Sunday Services**: Weekly (7:30am-11:30am).
- Additional events as scheduled (worship nights, conferences, special services).

**Compensation**:

- Bi-weekly stipend (for 5-10 hours of work, including rehearsal and service time)
