Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager the Room Attendant, will be working to ensure guest satisfaction. This is achieved through by maintaining guest room cleanliness, creating a great first impression and by providing personalized and thoughtful service to all our guests.
**As a Room Attendant, you’ll get to**:

- Cleaning all assigned guest rooms to hotel standards. This includes cleaning bathrooms, changing sheets and making beds, dusting, and vacuuming in each guest room.
- Reporting any damage of flooring surfaces, carpets, and upholsteries
- Ensuring the use of cleaning chemicals is according to the instructions set by the hotel
- Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of cleaning equipment
- Reporting any unusual and suspicious behaviour of guests or staff
- Conducting duties in a courteous, safe, and efficient manner, in accordance with hotel policies and procedures, ensuring that the highest level of service and communication
- Complying with all hotel standards and Procedures
- Actively promoting a courteous work environment, for guests and associates alike
- Ensuring compliance with legislated health and safety requirements within the workplace
- Such other similar or related duties as may be required from time to time

**What we are looking for**:

- Ability to work different shifts including weekends.
- Motivated, detail orientated and organized individual, with a strong work ethic and the ability to excel in a face paced environment.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment is an asset
- Must be able to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, and bending) for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to make repeated and continued movements of the shoulders, elbows and hands (below waist and overhead movement) as well as use various cleaning equipment and chemicals.
