Steinbach, Canada Hanover School Division Full time

**This position is based in Steinbach, but travel to schools throughout the Division is required. Start date as soon as possible.**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Clean equipment, paint mixing area and work area upon completion of job
- Operate compressors, striping machines, sandblasters, spray equipment, and other small power equipment
- Erect various types of scaffolding, staging, ladders, and planks to reach surfaces of work area
- Can include weekend work
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of all applicable codes, standards and regulations
- Knowledge of the tools, equipment and materials common to the trade
- Direct work experience as a painter in a warehouse environment preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is mandatory
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently in a time sensitive environment
- Strong customer service and attention to detail in all areas of work
- Flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $21.51 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
