Transportation Coordinator - Same Day Courier Services.

We are seeking a full-time Transportation Coordinator. With preferably 2 years experience. This individual must be flexible to work 3 weekdays and every weekend. Hours will be approximately 9:30 am. - 6:00 pm, each shift.

You must be professional, organized, a team player and have strong knowledge of Edmonton, downtown, and the surrounding areas. Along with this you must be able to multi-task. This is a very fast-paced position and attention to detail is required.

Working this position, you are required to use MC Dispatch’s software and third-party communication technologies. You would be assigning jobs and actively communicating to our fleet of drivers, to ensure timely delivery of our customer’s packages.

The Employees job duties will include the following:

- Dispatch each order that is submitted to the appropriate Driver;
- Ensure that all deliveries arrive to the customer’s requested location, safely and on time;
- Be professional and responsive to all of our drivers, clients, and any vendors;
- Educate, assist and coach drivers with deliveries when required;
- Answer over-flow telephone calls and provide customer service to all incoming calls;
- Making outbound calls to customers when necessary, to ensure each delivery is completed efficiently;
- These job duties will be the main responsibilities of the Employee, but not limited to the above descriptions;
