Dog Groomer

**Job Overview**

We are looking for a professional groomer(s) to join our team at Sundog Sport Centre. This is an opportunity for a highly motivated person who is interested in being self-employed and to rent space at Sundog Sport Centre.

**Duties**
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their grooming needs and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including tools and equipment.
- Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
- Lift and position pets as needed during grooming sessions, which may require heavy lifting.
- Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products to provide the best care possible.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in pet grooming is required.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with pet owners and address their concerns.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed when handling larger breeds or multiple pets.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential.

Pay: $17.00-$30.00 per hour
