**Job Summary** **Working CONDTIIONS** - **round trip - st laurent to quebec city to st laurent**: - Customer Trailers - **We are moving 7 days per week - majority of loads move monday to friday**: - Trucks parked around the corner from the plant in St Laurent - **Start times vary between 4am-10am --> daytime shifts** **Responsibilities** - Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations. - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. - Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight during transit. - Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and cargo information. - Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. - Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. - Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness. - Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment when necessary for loading and unloading tasks. **Requirements**: - **Must have 1 year minimum Class 1/ AZ verifiable experience**: - Good driving record English or French language functional - Refer experience is an asset - **Clean driver’s Abstract**: - Must be punctual - **Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation.**: - Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. - Basic knowledge of automotive repair is preferred but not mandatory. - Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. - **Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.** Join our team as a Truck Driver, where your skills will be valued, and you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations Pay: $25.00-$26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week **Benefits**: - Dental care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Vision care Flexible language requirement: - French not required Schedule: - Day shift - Weekends as needed **Experience**: - Class 1: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: - Class 1 Licence (required) **Location**: - Saint-Laurent, QC H4N 1S3 (required) Work Location: In person
