**Job Description**:
**Day to day responsibilities**:
- Transform character concepts into amazing, high-quality character models, textures, and materials in Unreal Engine, bringing them to life with creativity and attention to detail.
- Collaborate closely with the art and animation teams to ensure seamless integration of character designs with the game's style, narrative, and overall vision.
- Optimize character assets for real-time performance in Unreal Engine, striking a balance between visual fidelity and efficient resource usage to deliver a smooth gaming experience.
- Stay updated on the latest Unreal Engine best practices and industry trends, incorporating cutting-edge techniques to enhance character creation and push the boundaries of visual storytelling in our games.
- Create compelling characters that resonate with players and contribute to the immersive and unforgettable gameplay experience we strive to achieve.
**Qualifications**:
**What you bring to the table**:
**Background**:BA in Art, Graphic Design or similar field. Or the equivalent in years of experience.
**Experience**:+4 years of experience in creating character models, textures, and materials using Unreal Engine.
Previous work showcasing Stylized Character Art within the context of Unreal Engine.
**Technical knowledge**:
- Proficiency in character modeling using software like ZBrush, Maya, or Blender.
- Familiarity with character rigging and skinning for animation.
- Strong understanding of character anatomy and proportions.
- Knowledge of character optimization for real-time performance, particularly in Unreal Engine.
