If Datadog, DB - Limitless Postgres on AWS. **Job requirements**: **Role: Performance Tester** **Years of Experience: 8+ years** **Location: Mississauga (Greater Toronto Area), Canada (2-3 Days onsite)** As a consultant within the Vertical team, you will work with our clients to define their digital strategy and execution roadmap, and design and implement differentiated digital solutions to help deliver measurable value. **Performance Testing (40%)** - DB, Code, Infra and testing them for performance perspective of the new feature and the overall product - Need to write test case at component level. - Including Data set-up - Identify and RCA performance issues - Metric to strive for - Example - How long should the user wait to get the information back after a click - To define what would be the performance base line in conversation with the Prod / Engg Team - Possible remediation options to be shared to the product / engg team for fixing - ** Building out tooling (40%)**: - build generic performance framework and reusable performance testing - Staging environment is a challenge, UAT environment becomes challenging - Standardized performance framework - To build an ephemeral environment - Spin-up, serves the purpose, and spin-down - Size of cluster Infra lens is needed working in AWS - ** Adhoc Support to teams (20%)**: - playwright test isn’t working, CI/CD is down, infra piece - Business hours; no on-call - Technology Clarification - ** Primary Skills**: - Performance Test Eng., K6, AWS infra, Typescript, K8s, Terraform, Auto scale, sizing, query size - tuning piece - **Secondary Skills**: - Understand.Net, C#, React, Node - DB - Limitless Postgres on AWS - Past Domain exp is open as long as technology - New Relic is mandatory, Github action is mandatory.
