**Responsibilities**:
**Qualifications**:

- Undergraduate degree in health education/ promotion, community development, adult education, or a combination of relevant education and work experience in community health or community development
- Cultural competency training considered an asset
- Completion of the Foundations of Public Participation training program (International Association for Public Participation) is considered an asset
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with community based groups or projects
- Working knowledge of program planning and evaluation methods (including logic models)
- Experience in community health planning, community development and community or public engagement
- Experience in volunteer board development, working with diverse groups and teams in a community setting
- Demonstrated skills in report writing and policy development
- Demonstrated skills in facilitation and knowledge of the principles of adult education
- Excellent listening and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English fluently; the ability to communicate verbally in French is an asset
- Demonstrated proficiency with word processing, electronic communication, presentation software, web-based research etc.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Ability to work constructively as part of a larger team
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Access to reliable transportation

**Hours of Work**:
Permanent, Full-Time position; 75 hours bi-weekly

**Salary Information**:
$28.35 - $33.08 hourly
