**Job description**:
K2 Corrosion Fasteners LP is hiring one full time Accounting Technician to join their team.

**Job duties**:

- Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, maintain general ledgers, and prepare trial balance of books.
- Prepare payroll by calculating earnings, deductions, and taxes, and issue cheques or process direct deposits.
- Calculate and prepare payments for utilities, taxes, and other company expenses.
- Complete and submit government forms such as GST/HST returns, payroll remittances, workers’ compensation, and pension contribution reports.
- Prepare personal and business income tax returns and provide other related bookkeeping services.
- Prepare financial statements and generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required by management or external accountants.

**Job Requirements**:

- Completion of high school is required.
- Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field

OR

1-2 years of related experience is required

**How to apply**:
Pay: $34.62 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
