Learning objectives include:
- To demonstrate an understanding of fundamental concepts of Innovation Management: the development of innovation (ideation, risks, planning, etc.), leadership of innovation (culture, teams, incentives, etc.), and evaluation mechanisms.
- To demonstrate an awareness of managerial issues and current trends/challenges related to innovation.
An online course has been developed on Nexus (D2L) in 2025 and can be transferred to the contracted instructor for consideration in building the 2026 course. The Nexus site includes weekly readings, weblinks, videos, assignments, and discussion forums.
