Sandblaster/wash Booth

**Location**: Oro-Medonte, ON

**Pay**: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

**Hours**: Full Time

- Operate the sandblasting equipment to remove scale from steel products prior to paint.
- Work outside in different temperatures for sandblasting operations.
- Stage materials in the wash and paint booths.
- General maintenance of sandblasting and wash booth equipment, as required.
- Proper use of PPE.
- Prepare components for coatings using various preparation methods.
- Mask appropriate areas as required.
- Inspect components during processing stages.
- Support Assembly operations, as required: Assemble, fit, and install prefabricated parts to form sub-assemblies or finish products using hand and power tools.

**Job Requirements**:

- High School Diploma preferred.
- 1-2 years experience in Sandblasting or Paint Prep an asset.
- Experience in auto body finishing and repair.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Any satisfactory combination of education, training, experience, or abilities in a related field.
- An understanding of fabricated component construction is an asset.
- Experience in manufacturing environments is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Paint Prep: 1 year (preferred)
- Sandblasting: 1 year (preferred)
