Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Kitchen Team Member. As a member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and providing excellent service to our customers.
**Duties**:
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
- Cook menu items in accordance with recipes and food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of our dishes
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient service
- Help with dishwashing and cleaning duties as needed
**Experience**:
- Minimum one year experience in a kitchen or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods is a plus
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and procedures is beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
