Barista

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and beverages **according to established recipes and Receiver Coffee standards.**:

- Operate the POS system, including a Barista display, for processing customer orders and transactions efficiently.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers while working bar, completing orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Adhere to all food handling guidelines and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.

**Requirements**:

- **Previous barista experience is required.**:

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is advantageous.
- Proficiency in operating POS systems.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in **a fast-paced setting.**:

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when needed.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require physical stamina.

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
