Brookes Westshore School is currently looking for a Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper works to ensure the cleanliness of the campus and follows Health and Safety Protocols. This position is responsible for a variety of cleaning duties that include maintaining the cleanliness and sanitization of classrooms, the many bathrooms, and common areas. As well as other needs that arise from time to time.
**What we Offer**:
**Available Shift**: Wednesday-Sun or Saturday-Wednesday 7:00am-3:00pm
**Potential Start Date**: As soon as possible
$20.00 an hour
2 weeks annual vacation
Increase after successful completion of a 3-month probationary period
Eligibility for participation in our Extended Health and Benefit package after a 3-month waiting period which includes Life Insurance, Extended Health and Dental
Meal as a taxable benefit
On-the-job training
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Vacuuming, dusting and washing floors
Emptying garbage’s
Cleaning the mezzanine areas
Cleaning and sanitizing all bathrooms
Any other cleaning needs that may arise from time to time
Must complete a Ministry Criminal Record Check
Minimum of one-year experience as a housekeeper
Is capable of lifting 35 lbs.
Can work cooperatively with school staff
Is able to work with mínimal supervision
Communicates respectfully, clearly and effectively
Is able to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner
First Aid and WHMIS certificates an asset
