Mindful In Bloom is a GTHA-Based Organization that focuses on Children, Families, and Educators holistically. Mindful in Bloom is a licensed training partner of the Red Cross. In addition to our First Aid Training practices, we offer respite, childcare services, professional development and mentorship opportunities for Early Childhood Educators, family support programs, individualized service plans/educational plan support (in school), and developmental assessments. By establishing a wide range of support, we have been able to make a positive impact on the well-being and development of many families and children within the communities we serve.

**Qualifications**:

- Be a certified instructor with the Canadian Red Cross (in good standing)
- Minimum 2 years of practical training experience in a variety of settings
- Efficiently collaborates with multiple stakeholders in different environments
- Ability to be flexible to new circumstances and has strong conflict resolution skills
- Passionate about training a variety of professionals in First Aid skills
- Ability to communicate confidently in all disciplines in English and/or French
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License (G-Level) and access to a vehicle is preferred (alternative transportation can be provided depending on location of client)
- Must be willing to drive to clients in, but not limited to: Toronto, Brampton, Vaughan, Mississauga, Milton, Guelph and Kitchener.
- Vulnerable Sector Check will be current within six months
- Able to work legally in Ontario

**Responsibilities**:

- Teaching Canadian Red Cross First Aid and CPR courses according to National Standards
- Preparing the teaching space prior to courses, inclusive of cleaning up the space and using strict COVID-19 protocols following the completion of courses
- Submitting paperwork and timesheets to Director of Mindful In Bloom
- Responsible for signing a service agreement prior to starting
- Demonstrate professionalism in adherence to company policies and procedures
- Participate in self-reflection and team building exercises

**Salary**:

- Hourly pay range: $40-50 per hour
- Profit Sharing: Instructors will be paid according to participant enrolment through sales of the course. Instructors will be paid 40% of the final sales of the course.
- Salary will be reflected in Independent Contractor Service Agreement.
- *Referral Program: Instructors will receive a $100.00 incentive for any successful referrals to our Standard First Aid & CPR Training course

- 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
All instructors are required to be fully vaccinated prior to working in the field as a Mindful In Bloom associate as you will be training professionals in child care spaces, public and private schools and small businesses/ agencies majority of the time.
