**CABINET MAKER/ASSEMBLER**

Due to growth within our company, we are seeking aCabinet Maker/Assembler to join our team in Hawkesville (just outside of Waterloo). Our Assemblers are integral members of the Chervin family and a key step in our vision to create inspired interiors that grace your living space with unrivaled **QUALITY**, **DISTINCTION**, and **PEACE OF MIND**. This is a full-time position with 44 hours a week. Wage commensurate with experience. Benefits are provided after the 3-month probationary period.

Since 1991, Chervin has been designing, manufacturing, and installing high-end custom cabinetry in homes across the Waterloo Region. Over the years, Chervin has expanded to serve the GTA and Muskoka region. Chervin has also built and acquired 4 sister companies which have given us the opportunity to be a key player in the markets for luxury hotel furniture, residential furniture, custom upholstered furniture, and home décor.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**

Reporting to the Assembly Supervisor:

- Complete assembly of high-end custom residential cabinetry
- Install hardware (hinges, pullout systems, etc.) to finished cabinetry, as per specs provided by engineering
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet engineered specifications
- Wrap and label trim, panels, and fillers to ensure safe transportation during delivery
- Help maintain an organized and tidy workspace to ensure smooth processes and enable your team to produce the best quality products
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure production requirements are met safely and efficiently
- Follow Chervin's core values and project them to your team.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 2+ years of Assembly experience, ideally in cabinetry
- Ability to read and discern blueprints
- Ability to lift 50-75lbs
- A general understanding of hand tools and basic woodworking tools
- Strong English verbal and written skills
- Knowledge of woodworking is an asset
